Weather

Typical weather in November for the Sarasota area is low 80s for the high and mid 60s for the lows. November is the driest month of the year so the rain chance is very low, and sunset will be at 5:45pm.

Getting to Sarasota

The easiest airport to fly into is Sarasota Regional, SRQ - its about 10 minutes north of downtown Sarasota and the hotels, and about 30 minutes north of the ceremony venue. Taxis and Rentals are widely available @ SRQ. Other options include Tampa (TPA) which is about an hour north and Fort Myers (RSW) which is about an hour and a half south.

RSVP and Stuff

Menus, RSVPs, and similar stuff will be coming soon.

Can I Bring Someone?

Of course. This is a celebration of relationships, so bring whomever you feel will appreciate the event. When you fill out your RSVP, please list all attendees. If you have questions, go ahead and reach out.

Colors

We’re going to use a primary color of Navy Blue, supported by Burgundy, Pink, and Gold Accents. Please don’t worry about avoiding these colors! We want everyone to wear what they wish. :)

Venue Details

This is at an outdoor lawn and garden on Sarasota Bay. There are grass and trees and other outdoor things. Please take that into account.

Dress Code

Most importantly we want you to be comfortable, so dress to the level you feel appropriate. We do have a few recommendations: it’s Florida - its probably going to be beautiful out, but its still Florida. Wear cool clothing that fully covers you and is airy, IE summer dresses, light trousers, etc. Avoid jeans, as you will not enjoy that particular experience. Also avoid t-shirts and shorts - not for dress code reasons but because you prefer not to spend the next week coated in aloe. If you intend on wearing heels, consider wedges over stilettos. You may also want to bring a hat. And by that we mean definitely bring a hat. Just in case.
