We will be holding a gathering Friday evening to officially welcome friends and family to the area and kicking off the weekend’s celebrations. We want this event to be as enjoyable as possible, so here are the details you need to know. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to Liz or Adam for answers. Schedule

The event starts at 5pm and our open service ends at 8pm. The location is a cocktail bar - we’ll have exclusive use from 5pm until 6pm. After that it will be open to the public but we’ll have a designated area. At 7pm, the wedding party will depart for last agenda items and getting ready for the next day. Everyone is welcome to stay until the 8pm time slot. You’re also welcome to stay after that but the costs will be on you! ;)

LOCATION

The get together will be at Pangaea Alchemy Lab. Pangaea is a speakeasy cocktail bar attached to the back of meLange Restaurant - to get to it you go down the back alley and go through the door labeled “Alchemy Lab”. Don’t mind the dumpster, it won’t bite. The place is one of our favorites, but it is hidden and doesn’t look like much on the outside (which is a total understatement). Look for the name on the door and follow the map pin linked below. For parking, there is metered street parking but we find that to be unreliable, and instead recommend parking at the State Street Parking Ramp and then walking across the block to the restaurant - its a very short little stroll. Parking at State Street is free for 2 hours, and then costs $3 for the 3rd hour and $1 for every hour after. The automated gates accept credit cards, so it’s cheap and very easy to park. Additionally, meLange/Pangaea is very near to the core of downtown Sarasota. If you want to grab dinner either at meLange or elsewhere nearby, there are a ton of great options. We do strongly recommend reservations if you do choose to find dinner downtown, either at meLange or elsewhere. What Will Be Served

We will have full access to the food and bar menu, but we’ve pre-selected a few things to make sure they have extras and are ready when everyone gets there! They’re listed below but don’t worry, you don’t have to memorize them. Starters will be delivered to the tables at the start and you’ll get a menu when you arrive to order more if you wish. On us, of course!
